Bay Area Savings "Supporting Our Local Merchants"

I decided to start a blog on behalf of my new company Bay Area Savings "Supporting Our Local Merchants.  I recently quit my job in the marketing business of 21 years to help out local merchants promote their business and specials at a cost that is affordable to them.  It is REDICULOUS how much advertising is these days and with the way the economy is at this point, consumers are looking for deals.

So where do most of our consumers spend most of their time these days?  Statistics show that most of their time is spent on:

  1. E-mail

  2. Internet

  3. Networking sites i.e. Myspace, Facebook, various bloggers

A recent study shows that the younger generation comes in from work with their mail and goes straight to the recycling bin to discard all the coupons you paid so much money promoting without even glancing at them.

Todays way to go to market is online marketing and thus I’ve put together this business to help promote in a way that will be looked at more often at a cost that our local merchants can afford.

Our deals are shown on the following sites

http://www.myspace.com/bayareasavings

Now the above is just the start.  In addition we have thousands of people who have subscribed to our offers via e-mail.  These offers come directly to them to where all they have to do is click & print.
