WOW I just spent my first over the $4 per gallon mark in gasoline!

OK so I go to the gas station and get gas and it's not just at $4.00! It's $4.17!!!WOW I told my son that I remember paying $.89 a gallon back in the mid '80s. How can some people live at this rate?
